I like piano toys, and when I was four years old, I was taken to a piano classroom and started getting used to it. I couldn't like the hard-hitting practice music of German music that I could read, but when I was 8 or 9, I listened to Debussy and was shocked by the harmony and development I had never heard before. However, I could not play such a song, and I lost the motivation to practice. The path of academic music is abandoned early.
After adolescence in the 80's, and after hitting the best hit USA, Stevie Wonder, YMO, Middle Beatles, Police, REM, etc. were also attracted to those with a habit of harmony and rhythm.
I really liked the irregularity of John Lennon's beats being cut off suddenly and having extra beats. In 1989, at the live of The Stone Roses, I forgot about the liveliness of Reni's drums and Mani's bass, so I bought 4 tracks and a sequencer and started composing. At that time, I realized that drums and bass had the power to move people directly.
Recently, many solo artists such as Tabito Nanao, Elliott Smith, Beck, and Ray Harakami are listening at home. Maybe you like the feeling of being exposed to the wind alone. But I also like the feeling of being overwhelmed by a well-organized live band.
I often listen to music in the car that goes to the studio. Keane feels singerlong and feels thirsty.

Columbia Sound Archives Series Anne of the Red Hair Memories Ongakukan -Complete Edition- [Soundtrack]
The soundtrack to the anime "Anne of the Red Hair" aired in 1979. "I can hear you" and "Samenai dream" are works by contemporary composer Akira Miyoshi, and their harmony and composition are fresh and beautiful, which was shocking to my young ears. I think I was really fortunate to be able to listen to these songs weekly in the tea room as a kid. Many of the customers and musicians I met later in the year were also impressed by the song.
Synchronicity / The Police
When I was in high school, I was very attracted to the 6-beat rock of "Synchronicity." The drums (especially the position of the kick) were eccentric, and the bass involved was also eccentric, and after listening to all the songs, I listened only to the rhythm team. When I was a student, I didn't have much money, so I listened to the album I got until I learned every corner. It may be useful when arranging songs now.

The whole body is kidnapped the moment the guitar in the intro is played. This feeling that the chest is tightened like a mixture of sharp sorrow and the moment of happiness. The feeling that George Harrison's song had was passing for a moment. The albums after this will have many band-organized songs, but I also like them. The essential thing remains the same.
Debussy Preludes Vol. 1 / Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli
When I was in junior high and high school, I air checked Debussy and Foret on the radio, recorded them on a cassette and listened to them many times. I don't think I was listening to this version. "Children's Territory" is a work written by Debussy for his daughter, and I like that humor and beauty coexist. I also like "12 practice songs", but there are few that have been converted into sound sources.
